I believe growth and change are a process of discovering who we are underneath the stories, roles, expectations, and patterns we have accumulated along the way.
Life can be overwhelming. Sometimes an outside force knocks us down. Sometimes our relationships become unmanageable. Sometimes just being inside our own heads can be unbearable. Whatever reason you’re looking for a therapist, I know how hard it can be to reach out for help. As someone whose life has been positively changed by therapy, I’d like to take a moment to say, hey, good for you.
My practice is first and foremost feminist and relational. This means I avoid pathologizing behavior and frame presenting concerns as protective mechanisms and manifestations of distress.
I believe therapy is a collaborative space where you can bring your whole self—without judgment, pretense, or the pressure to be "fixed".
I’m fascinated by the ways our subconscious patterns, past experiences, relationships, and nervous systems can shape how we move through the world—often outside of our conscious awareness.
My approach is relational, humanistic, and grounded in attachment theory — focused on helping clients reconnect with their inner strength and values, even in moments of pain or transition.
I view counseling as a partnership built on trust, respect, and genuine connection.
I believe every person deserves a space to feel seen, heard, and accepted while discovering their own capacity for change, healing, growth, courage and resilience.
My approach is real, imperfect, warm, and grounded in curiosity, humor, and compassion. In our work together, we'll make space for more honesty, compassion, and choice.
When I think about personal challenges, I often refer to The Wizard of Oz. The lion longed for courage; the scarecrow, a brain; the tin man, a heart; and Dorothy, the feeling of home. At the end of their journeys (spoilers!), each character discovers that their deepest yearnings are also their strongest resources.
I am a relational, compassion-focused student therapist specializing in mindfulness-based and transpersonal counseling.
