The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate.
—Carl Jung
I’m fascinated by the ways our subconscious patterns, past experiences, relationships, and nervous systems can shape how we move through the world—often outside of our conscious awareness.
Together, we can explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, experiences, body, and values, getting curious about patterns that may no longer serve you and creating more room for choice and change.
My work experience has deepened my interest in the subconscious and I’m looking forward to working with people who are open to exploring this connection as well as learning practical mindfulness and somatic-based tools that they can incorporate into their lives.
I’m particularly interested in working with adults navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, questions of identity and meaning, anxiety, stress, and the lingering impact of past experiences. I also welcome working with men who are interested in developing greater self-awareness, emotional insight, and healthier relationships with themselves and others.
I’m a down-to-earth, holistic, and mindfulness-informed student therapist who believes therapy works best as a genuine partnership. I’ll bring curiosity, warmth, and occasionally a bit of sarcasm to the work, and you can come as you are.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, binge-watching K-dramas, and exploring all things health-related. I’m interested in both science and the more mysterious aspects of being human, so you might find me reading research for fun or exploring astrology, Human Design, and other ways we make meaning of ourselves and the world.
I am supervised by Linda A. Ramsey, LPC, LMFT-S, and am finishing up my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University.
